Shereyl Snider is a dedicated community organizer and advocate with a deep commitment to social justice and environmental health. As the founder of Urban Earth Collective, she provides dynamic leadership, amplifies the voices of marginalized communities, and fosters collaboration among individuals from diverse backgrounds to drive meaningful change.

Since beginning her journey in lead awareness and advocacy, Shereyl has remained steadfast in educating communities about the dangers of lead exposure and its impact on children's health and development. Since 2023, she has served as the lead advocate for the Trenton Lead-Free Community Hub, working to connect families with critical resources and support services.

In 2026, Shereyl was appointed Co-Chair of the Lead-Free NJ Advocacy Committee, further expanding her leadership role in advancing statewide efforts to eliminate lead exposure. That same year, collaborative research involving Shereyl, Dr. Sean Stratton, Dr. Brian Buckley, Dr. Zorimar, conducted between Rutgers University EOHSI and the East Trenton community, was published in the Journal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology. Today, Shereyl's mission is focused on promoting policies that support early childhood lead testing, eliminating barriers to accessing lead screening services, and expanding programs that provide families with the resources needed to reduce children's exposure to lead. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, she continues to champion healthier, safer environments for all children and families.
